Chalk House - Pet friendly - From £125 Per Night

Its was an ok property But I would not rent it again Positive: It was in close proximity to the town. It was compact but had what we needed. Negative: Its a hard location to do drop offs and picks being on a busy road. The biggest issue we had was the heating. When we arrived it was stuck on auto and manual and would not call for heat. The first nite it was 16 in the house. My husband and daughter read up on line how to fix it the issue so we could use the thermostat. Once that was working we discovered that only one heater was working, in the bathroom. The valve had been turned off in the large bedroom so that was able to get going. After a several attempts at trying to fix the small bedroom and the ssitting area, we could not get those units to turn on. I did contact the property with the issues. I got a couple of responses but nothing that addressed the issue of no heat in two rooms.

Lovely property and would stay there again. So central and perfect for all our needs. Positive: Location and decor Negative: The stairs were a slight challenge in the night but we managed! The pub behind was a bit noisy on Sat night.

Would happily recommend it Positive: Its position. Very near the centre of Henley. Had everything we needed. Negative: The dangerous stairs

Great location close to Henley town centre Positive: Location great, a 5 min walk into Henley town centre. We parked up around the corner as recommended by the owners. Comfy house, very cosy. Garden also nice, if we'd stayed longer a BBQ would have been lovely :-) Negative: Nothing really, although the stairs were very narrow and steep, and took some care going up and down!

Lovely terrace, would certainly stay again if required to be on the area. Positive: Clean and comfortable, Lovely quiet,felt like home. Negative: Expensive but unfortunately it was during Henley Regatta, expected $$$ be up there!! I am sure it’s totally reasonable in other times.
