Comfortable and Cosy retreat for a winter getaway with friends Positive: The property was well maintained and clean throughout. There was plenty of kitchenware and crockery for the six of us, and the communal area was great for catching up. Loads of parking (we had three cars between us), and just a short drive to Henley itself. Negative: The pull-out sofa bed was a little uncomfortable, so on the second day we just slept on the sofa and it was more comfortable. This is completely minor however, and didn’t impact our stay.

A lovely weekend away in a beautiful setting Positive: Beautiful home finished to a very high standard. Open plan kitchen and living area makes it perfect to catch up with friends and socialise. Location is close enough to Henley to walk - although it is very dark at night so do take a torch if you want to do this! Negative: The attic room is not suitable for young children or elderly, due to the steep ladder.

Brilliant weekend break. Positive: The location was great. Walks in the woods & by the river. Quality beds & beautiful cotton bedding. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of plates etc & serving bowls. Very comfortable property - there were 5 of us plus a dog. Plenty of parking as we had 4 cars - unfortunately everyone came from different directions. Negative: Guess the sofa bed could have been more comfortable by adding an extra bit of padding - like a Duvalay topper.

We stayed for 3 weeks and found the location to be ideal for Henley and also close enough to get to Reading. The annex area was roomy with a well stocked cupboard of crockery and cutlery. Great shower in the bathroom and would be very cosy in the winter with plenty of radiators and a log burning stove. The decor is as per the photos and the parking is easy. Really pleasant stay and would recommend to others
