Perfect location, off road parking, warm and inviting with the Chilterns Hills on your doorstep! Positive: For our stay location was everything as our daughter and son-in-law live no more than a five minute walk away. Parking off road (especially in a town like Henley) is a huge bonus. We could park outside the annexe with ease and then just leave until the end of our stay. Our stay (being winter), benefitted from the excellent heating system. Radiators that threw out heat! We ended up turning them off at times as the thermostat being set at 21 degrees made for almost constant heat during the day. Although there is no kitchen at the annexe there is a roomy fridge, kettle, coffee machine and tea, coffee, sugar and coffee pods are provided. Remember to bring milk just for that first arrival cuppa though. One thoughtful addition is the supply of washing up liquid, tea towel, sponge and bottle brush. The bathroom sink is roomy and it was nice to be able to wash our mugs/glasses up properly rather than just run under a tap. There is also a kitchen roll - always handy. The bathroom was spotlessly clean (as was the rest of the property). A good supply of towels and the bonus of Jo Malone hand wash at the sink! A £36 a bottle, that is a real luxury. There is also shower/hair wash provided in the shower. The bed was very comfortable and the TV had excellent reception. We did not use the free wi-fi provided for personal use. As to location to Henley town centre, it is around a 5/8 minutes walk (depending upon how fast you walk) to the Reading Road which when you reach, turn left and that will take you into Henley centre within a 10 minute walk or so. Peppard Lane leads eventually to the Chiltern Hills. There is a very lovely walk (around 3.7 miles) across fields/woods to the wonderful "Bottle & Glass Inn". This is an excellent pub with a small converted barn too (serves food/alcohol) which is very good especially if you have a muddy dog as we did. Negative: There was nothing not to like. You are asked to set the thermostat to 15 degrees when you leave (understandably) but despite our knowledge of thermostats, it just kept returning to 21 degrees. However, I left a message and by the time we reached home, it has been answered with a "Don't worry - the cleaners will sort it out".

Positive: Comfortable, clean and good location. Negative: No mirror apart from in the bathroom. Would have liked some bowls and spoons to use for breakfast.
